What Bohol has to offer:
1. Beautiful beaches
2. The Amazing Chocolate Hills
3. Eye-feast on Beautiful Sceneries
4. Lunch or Dinner with Cruise at Loboc River
5. Tarsier Sanctuary
From Cebu, my husband and I rode a ferry to Tubigon Port rather than in Tagbilaran. It is cheaper and nearer to Chocolate Hills and Sablayan area. We had the chance to roam around Bohol in a public vehicle. It was worth it!
From Chocolate Hills, we rode a bus going to Tagbilaran. The fare was cheap! I think it was just P80. Then from the city, we rode a multi-cab going to Panglao Island. We spent the night there. We got a room near the sea. We spent some time savoring the sand and the stars. What a wonderful sight!
The next morning, we had an early morning swim at Alona Beach. It was kinda busy but the water was good and inviting. After a hearty but inexpensive breakfast in one of the restaurants there, we looked for rent-out bikes. We plan to have a road trip from Panglao to Loboc. Unfortunately, it rained. So we decided to take public transportation again.
We really enjoyed our lunch at Loboc River Cruise. It was simple yet the nature and the local dance from Boholanos captured my heart. After that, we went to a Tarsier Sanctuary! Tarsiers are awesome creatures.
We decided to go back to Tubigon because the ferry in Tagbilaran are pricey! It was a long travel but we definitely enjoyed it.
God has really gifted Bohol in many ways. It is indeed a beautiful place!
