Rogime & Michelle: The Real Deal

I've posted Rogime & Michelle's DIY Prenup. And as promised, here's their official prenup photos by Purple Kite Studios. I think it's very important that the prenup will depict the couple's personality. Ogim and Michelle achieved that! They love drinking coffee and chatting together! They consider themselves as "city-people" too :) So here are my favorite photos of them!

Rogime & Michelle: A DIY Pre-nup

I've known Rogime and Michelle since high school. I've seen their love blossoms all these years. They've been busy with their preparations for their December wedding but I am just so amused to see them still having time to enjoy and relax.

I've seen their pre-nup photos already but it isn't time yet to post them. However, since their pre-nup has a "city theme" on it, they've decided to take photos by themselves in their hometown in Oriental Mindoro. Who says you can't do pre-nup photos on your own? Ask Rogime and Michelle! :)

Mount Manalmon & Prenup

Mt. Manalmon is perfect for adventure, nature loving and pictures--yes, even pre-nuptial photos!

My husband and I met in a hiking group. Two years after, we got married. Naturally, we wanted our pre-nup photos to be at the top of a mountain. But we thought no crazy photographer in the Philippines would agree. To our surprise, we met one ! And so, October of last year, we hiked Mount Manalmon for our pre-nuptial shoot.

We chose Mt. Manalmon because it’s just an easy hike. The jump point is at Sitio Madlum, San Miguel Bulacan. You can bring a car because there is a wide space for parking. That’s what we did. But just in case you want to take the public transportation, here’s what you should do:

1) Ride a Cabanatuan-bound bus from Cubao. 2) Go down at Brgy. Kamias, San Miguel Bulacan. 3) Take a tricycle to Sitio Madlum.

Easy, right? Estimated time of travel from Manila to San Miguel is two to three hours. At Sitio Madlum, you have to register and get a guide for security and safety. Guide fee is P300.

Two Ways to Cross the Madlum River: 

1) Balsa-pay P5 each      

   2) Monkey Bridge (see picture)-this is more fun and it is FREE of charge!

From there, the hike should be one to two hours depending on the phase. It just took us longer because we shoot our pre-nup photos along the way. The river, the rocks, the trees are just awesome!

We reached the Manalmon before the sun sets. It was beautiful at the top! Mt. Arayat was visible and the sun set too! There’s a rock where you can take pictures with the river at the bottom and Mt. Gola on the side! Mt. Manalmon is picture perfect!

Side Trip that you might want to try if you have time (but we weren’t able to try it): 1. Bayukbok Cave 2. Mt. Gola trek 3. Swim at Madlum river (which is perfect for swimming sana!)
