Dear friends, I definitely recommend this movie for you. I am totally stoked with this one. 

1) Beautifully done: superb cinematography (especially the shots in Greenland, Iceland and Himalayas), great soundtrack and of course, Ben Stiller at his best :) Imagine him in serious mode--he's still funny!

2) Clean. Clean. Clean. (I thought Hollywood can't make it but they sure can! And it's awesome.)

3) Totally inspiring: Walter has this zoned-out moments when he would just forget everything, stand still and think of something great (lovelife, things he wants to do but can't, etc.). 

And when he experienced a bit of "life", he realized that the "real thing" is way, way better. 

"Beautiful things don't ask for attention".

The Daykeeper 2014

2013 has been a great year, it's a start of a new phase in my life. It started my freelancing and online jobs and I am enjoying the adventures of  married life. Sadly, I wasn't able to journal consistently this year. I've been hooked with blogging, FB, twitter and instagram. :(

 So, my dream this year is to have a journal and a planner rolled into one. When I've learned about the Daykeeper, I know in my heart that I want it. However, it's too pricey for me... so I took away the desire to have one (naks!)

But one day, a package came and....tadaaaa, my very own DayKeeper :)

Indeed, I am loved.

I instantly fell in love with every pages. I can write my schedules on the left side and on the right side, I can write something about the things that made me happy for each day of the week. Also, there is a mid-month musing section with lovely photographs.  NEAT!!!

 I am definitely inspired to write down my 2014 memories with this awesome planner :)

Suelas: Super Comfy Shoes

I love shoes! And I like shoe-hunting. Just this year, I've found what I have been looking for for sooo long--Suelas! I first got to know them through Rica Paralejo's site.

Alagwa: A Must-See Movie

Not a lot of Filipinos would appreciate this kind of movie. We all love the happy-ever-after type to appease us of our pains even for just two hours or so. After watching "Alagwa", I wasn't surprise to hear comments such as "yon na yon?"..."bitin..." It was as if everybody was still waiting for something to cure their wrenched hearts.

I wasn't surprised that it was already the end. From the beginning until the last scene, the movie only portrayed one thing: REALITY. This is the horrible reality that is hidden in the dark, in the alleys, in the back doors. No matter how heart-wrenching, soul-crushing this reality is...this is happening. And one way or another, we need to face it.

I don't really know what to write. I guess I would just to personally invite you to watch this award-winning movie. Maybe you will be disappointed, maybe you'll say "bitin". Maybe like me, you'll be bothered and you'll feel that big burden in your heart. You'll only know when buy tickets and watch. :)
